Bill graduated from Western Michigan University, earned his law degree at Northern Illinois University, and obtained his LLM degree from the University of Denver College of Law. He is admitted to practice in New Mexico, Texas, and Michigan, with Arizona admission pending. Bill is an active member of numerous legal and professional organizations, including each state's bar association where he is admitted to practice, the American Corporate Counsel Association, the New Mexico Solar Energy Association, and the Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association.

Miriam graduated from Wellesley College and earned her law degree from the American University - Washington College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. Miriam is admitted to practice in New Mexico, Texas, Maryland and Washington, D.C., with Arizona admission pending. She is a member of the State Bar of New Mexico, the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association and sits on Washington College of Law’s Dean’s Diversity Committee.
